Travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in a cardiac unit located in Portland, OR. Assignment begins August 3, 2026 and lasts 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care for cardiac patients following the nursing process.
  • Collect relevant data, assess, analyze, and identify care issues; develop plans and implement interventions to achieve outcomes.
  • Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe, healing environment; evaluate progress toward outcomes.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to various levels of assigned nursing staff; collaborate with the health care team.
  • Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with the treatment team and families to support patient-centered care and continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the state of practice (Oregon).
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from an approved vendor.
  • ACLS or ARC-ALS certification.
  • At least two years of recent experience in the field, with acute/cardiac care experience emphasized.
  • Ability to work night shift in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Pay

Weekly pay ranges from $2,276 to $2,311.

Schedule

  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
  • 3x12 nights (6:45 PM–7:15 AM).
