About the role

MRI Technologist – MRI specialty in Corvallis, Oregon, United States. Start date 10/12/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Pay

Weekly pay range: $2,739–$2,826. Shift: 5×8 days, with either 07:00–15:30 or 10:00–18:00 shifts; no weekend work.

Work setting

Short Term Acute Care Hospital imaging department.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams following established protocols to ensure high-quality images and patient safety
• Position patients, select coils and sequences, adjust parameters, and monitor during the study
• Screen patients for contraindications and implants; verify consent and history; ensure patient safety and comfort
• Maintain sterility and safety practices; manage contrast administration if applicable; observe and respond to patient needs
• Collaborate with radiologists and other team members; accurately label, image, and document studies; ensure proper data handling
• Maintain equipment performance and report any malfunctions; adhere to ARRT MR standards and departmental policies

Requirements

• Current ARRT (MR) or equivalent credential required
• Current unencumbered Oregon MRI license required
• Healthcare Provider BLS required
• Radiography background with ARRT RT(R) credential preferred
• Hospital setting experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced imaging department and adhere to safety and quality standards
