Travel Radiology Tech MRI Tech Job
About the role
Conduct MRI examinations for diagnostic purposes, optimizing image quality while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Prepare and position patients, administer contrast as ordered, and monitor patients during scanning. Operate MRI equipment, including Philips systems when available, and adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards. Ensure accurate documentation in Epic within the past 2 years and coordinate with radiologists on image quality and preliminary findings. Collaborate in a teaching hospital setting; maintain a flexible schedule with no on-call requirements and 1–2 weekend shifts per month. Maintain patient privacy and safety, perform routine equipment checks, and comply with BLS and department policies.
Requirements
- BLS certification required
- ARRT or ARMRIT license with MR advanced licensure required
- Minimum 1 year MRI technologist experience
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- Teaching hospital experience required
- Philips MRI experience preferred; strong candidates without Philips considered
Pay
Weekly pay range: 3,396–3,486 per week
Schedule
- 3×12-hour night shifts
- 1–2 weekend shifts per month
