Travel Radiology Tech MRI Tech Job

About the role

This hospital-based travel assignment offers hands-on MRI experience with a flexible schedule. Scheduling notes include no call, 1–2 weekends per month, and must be flexible with schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures and acquire diagnostic-quality images according to protocol
• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications; monitor patient safety and comfort during imaging
• Position patients and coils, select appropriate imaging sequences, and optimize image quality
• Review orders, verify patient identity, and document findings in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with radiologists and other imaging staff to ensure accurate exams and timely results
• Maintain equipment and perform routine safety checks; report any malfunctions or safety concerns

Requirements

• BLS required
• ARRT or ARMRIT license; MR advanced licensure required
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
• Epic experience within the past 2 years required
• Philips MRI experience highly preferred; strong candidates without Philips will be considered
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience required

Pay

Weekly pay range: $3,379–$3,573.

Schedule

Shift: 3x12-hour Nights. Start date: 09/03/2026.
