About the role

Travel assignment for a Radiology Tech – Mammography in Clearlake, California, starting October 12, 2026, lasting 13 weeks. The position follows a 4x10‑hour shift schedule (40 hours per week) in an acute imaging services setting, managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized mammography examinations and imaging procedures to aid in breast diagnosis and treatment
• Operate and monitor mammography equipment, ensuring proper technique, positioning, and safety
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and maintain patient comfort and privacy throughout imaging
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and quality standards to produce clear, diagnostic images
• Communicate findings and collaborate with radiologists and the imaging team to ensure accurate interpretation
• Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation per department procedures

Requirements

• Active California Radiologic Technologist license
• ARRT certification in Radiography
• Mammography certification or eligibility to obtain
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent

Pay

Weekly pay range: $2,625–$2,735 per week. Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary; final compensation packages and confirmed hours will be discussed during the hiring process.
