Overview

Radiology Technologist – Mammography travel assignment in Cumming, GA. This 13-week engagement starts August 24, 2026, with 40 guaranteed hours per week. The position operates on a daytime 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, in a hospital imaging department. Weekly pay ranges from $2,268 to $2,482. Relocation is required for this travel assignment; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible. Contributors must work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve) during the contract.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic mammography exams with accurate positioning and compression to produce high-quality images
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, explain the procedure, and screen for contraindications as needed
• Operate mammography equipment, conduct quality control checks, and manage imaging records and documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and support staff to deliver timely results and clear communication
• Adhere to ARRT Mammography standards, maintain infection control, and uphold radiation safety principles

Requirements

• ARRT Mammography certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience in a clinical setting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital imaging environment on a travel assignment
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach; able to meet credentialing and assignment requirements
