About the role

Travel assignment for a Radiology Technologist – Mammography in Portland, Oregon, beginning 09/28/2026 and lasting 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,637 to $2,779 for a 40‑hour workweek on day shifts (8‑hour shifts). The position is in a hospital setting managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized mammography examinations using dedicated equipment to support diagnosis and treatment planning
• Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain high‑quality diagnostic breast images while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols, verify image quality, and document results; communicate findings as appropriate
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment, including QC checks and timely reporting of equipment issues
• Collaborate with radiology team and physicians; provide clear, accurate information and assist with patient education
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all procedures are performed in accordance with department standards

Requirements

• Active radiologic technologist license for the state of Oregon or eligibility to obtain
• Ability to perform mammography procedures and operate mammography equipment
• Prior clinical imaging experience; mammography experience preferred
• Strong patient care and communication skills; commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to work in a hospital setting; 40‑hour daytime schedule
• Willingness to participate in travel assignment as required
