Overview

Interventional Radiology Technologist travel assignment in Roswell, GA. This role starts on 08/10/2026 for a 13-week contract in a hospital imaging department. Work to provide interventional radiology imaging and support in vascular hybrid procedures. The position offers a weekly pay range of $2,606 to $2,678 and a 4x10-hour day shift schedule. The technologist operates under the direction of the clinical coordinator and department manager, ensuring safe, high-quality imaging and patient care. The role requires the ability to perform procedures in both the IR and vascular hybrid interventional settings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures and exams per department procedures
  • Set up imaging equipment and position patients to obtain quality diagnostic studies
  • Work in both IR and vascular hybrid procedural environments with independence and clinical judgment
  • Maintain patient safety, sterile technique, and radiation safety throughout procedures
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure age-appropriate, safe patient care and accurate imaging

Requirements

  • Interventional radiology technologist competencies with the ability to perform procedures in IR and vascular hybrid settings
  • Able to independently execute job functions, including equipment setup and patient positioning
  • Knowledge of department procedures, safety standards, and imaging quality requirements
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with the clinical team and patients
  • Willingness to participate in a travel assignment starting 08/10/2026 and working on a 4x10-hour daytime schedule
