About the role

This 13-week assignment involves working in an interventional radiology department within an acute-care environment. You will provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for invasive, interventional, and therapeutic procedures addressing cardiac, vascular, and structural heart disorders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with device implantation/removal, lead management, and catheter-based interventions; participate in therapeutic ablations as part of the interventional team.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, operate imaging equipment as assigned, and uphold radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Monitor patient status during procedures, document findings, and communicate with the procedural team to support safe and effective care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety throughout interventional studies.

Requirements

• Active California radiologic practice license (per local regulatory standards).
• Certification in radiologic technology (ARRT or equivalent) or as required by state.
• Prior experience in interventional radiology or cath lab settings preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced interventional environment; strong teamwork and communication skills.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred or as required by facility policies.

Pay

Competitive weekly pay range: $2,826–$3,014 per week.

Schedule

Days, 10-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week.
