Travel Psychology - Weekly Contract

Responsibilities

• Perform psychological screenings and assessments through clinical interviews and record reviews.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functioning levels.
• Conduct regular rounds in confined housing areas to evaluate inmate adjustment and mental health status.
• Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to share information and coordinate patient care.
• Ensure treatment activities are integrated and follow-through is maintained.
• Apply psychological counseling techniques and theories effectively.
• Consult with staff to understand behavioral escalations and mental health changes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum two years of clinical experience, including one in a comparable role.
• Current, unrestricted psychology license in the state of practice.
• Board eligibility and US citizenship for clearance.
• Possess BLS, pharmacology knowledge, skills checklist, and specialty exam.
• Excellent communication, assessment, and crisis intervention skills.
