Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Role: Travel Stepdown RN responsible for providing specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units, requiring close monitoring and interventions. Key Responsibilities Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.Administer medications and treatments, assist with cardiac procedures.Assess patient conditions, document history, and respond to cardiac emergencies.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.Educate patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle modifications.Follow safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.Valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications.Preferred: PCCN and NIHSS certifications.Critical thinking, strong interpersonal, communication, and technical skills.Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients.Capable of working under pressure, maintaining confidentiality, and effective team collaboration.
