About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a travel assignment in Corvallis, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities
- Administering medications and treatments, especially for cardiac care
- Assisting physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations
- Providing patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Documenting patient assessments, responses, and interventions
- Responding to cardiac emergencies following protocols
- Maintaining patient safety, confidentiality, and adhering to safety standards
Requirements
- One year of recent Stepdown RN experience
- Valid RN license per state regulations
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure, maintain concentration, and handle irregular activity
