Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Role: Travel Stepdown RN responsible for providing specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units, with a focus on cardiac monitoring and interventions. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs, administer medications, assist with cardiac procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, document assessments, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum one year of recent Stepdown RN experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications; preferred PCCN and NIHSS certifications. Must possess critical thinking, effective communication, physical stamina, technical skills, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
