About the role
The Outpatient Physical Therapist at ARMStaffing is responsible for evaluating assigned patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans, and ensuring functional treatment programs that facilitate effective return to community activities.
Responsibilities
- Completes comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
- Utilizes clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on progressing patients towards discharge.
- Makes timely and accurate medical record documentation, including goal writing and charge entry.
- Ensures care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval.
- Participates in student program, providing supervision and evaluation as appropriate.
- Creates and actively pursues an individualized professional development plan.
- Maintains professional licensure in good standing and adheres to continuing education requirements.
- Demonstrates awareness of performance improvement initiatives and follows through with action plans.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
- Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Active, applicable licensure for the state where work will be performed.
