About the role

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans according to patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for the assigned patients, ensuring effective return to community activities through functional treatment programs. The therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, and coworkers while maintaining compliance with the organization's Code of Conduct and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
  • Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical record documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Participate in the student program by providing a positive learning environment.
  • Actively pursue professional development and continuing education.
  • Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
  • Contribute to organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
  • Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
  • CPR certification.
  • Active and applicable state license for practice.
  • Previous experience with Select Medical is preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
