About the role
This travel temporary assignment begins on 12/01/2026 for 13 weeks in a skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive OT evaluations for residents with acute care needs in a skilled nursing setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve activities of daily living, mobility, and functional outcomes
- Deliver therapy interventions, including therapeutic activities and therapeutic exercises, aligned with short- and long-term goals
- Document progress notes, goals, and outcomes in resident charts per regulatory and facility requirements
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, PT, SLP, social work) to coordinate care and plan discharge
- Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, safety, and self-management strategies; participate in discharge planning and transitions of care
Requirements
- Occupational Therapist license in Washington state (or eligible for licensure/endorsement)
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Relevant experience in acute care or skilled nursing settings is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility environment
- Strong documentation, communication, and team collaboration skills
Pay
Weekly pay ranges from $2,206 to $2,371 per week with guaranteed hours of 35 per week.
Schedule
Shift is 5x8 days, with an 8:00 am–4:30 pm schedule.
