Travel Occupational Therapist Acute Care Job

41-week travel assignment with Healthforce Healthcare LLC in Federal Way, Washington. Start date: 09/02/2026.

Pay

Weekly pay ranges from $2,230 to $2,382.

Schedule

5x8 Days; 7.5 hours per day (typically 08:00–16:00).

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and ongoing assessments for students in a school setting.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP-aligned OT goals; plan interventions to support fine motor, sensory, self-care, and participation in classroom activities.
• Deliver direct therapy services and adapt activities to meet individual student goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, school nurses, speech-language pathologists, families, and other team members to support student progress.
• Recommend classroom accommodations, assistive technology, and environmental modifications to promote participation.
• Document progress notes, update goals, and maintain compliance with school district policies and state regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and coordinate with service providers to support transitions and ongoing therapy integration into daily routines.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a school-based setting with children and adolescents.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff.
• Flexibility to travel to the assigned location and adhere to school hours.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a school-based caseload in a travel assignment.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy is desirable.
