Travel Occupational Therapist Acute Care Job

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing occupational therapy evaluations for residents in the skilled nursing setting
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans to address functional impairments and rehabilitation goals
• Deliver evidence-based interventions focused on activities of daily living, mobility, balance, endurance, and safety with transfers
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, goals, and discharge planning in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, physical therapy, social work, and case management) to coordinate care and facilitate smooth transitions

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license in New Jersey
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Experience in acute care or skilled nursing settings preferred
• Ability to work the listed schedule (08:00–16:30) and maintain guaranteed hours
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
