About the role

  • Weekly pay: $2,530–$2,632
  • Guaranteed hours: 35 per week
  • Contract duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Daytime, 5x8 schedule (08:00–16:30)
  • Work setting: Skilled rehabilitation environment

Responsibilities

  • Conduct OT evaluations and ongoing reassessments for residents to determine therapy needs and goals
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, and safety
  • Deliver therapy sessions, therapeutic activities, and training to promote independence; provide caregiver and family education
  • Document assessments, goals, treatment progress, and discharge planning in the resident’s chart; communicate findings to the care team
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, adjust plans, and support smooth transitions and discharge planning
  • Ensure patient safety and apply infection control, adaptive equipment recommendations, and evidence-based interventions; monitor progress and adjust approaches as needed

Requirements

  • Active Occupational Therapist license to practice in Washington State (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • 1 year of related OT experience in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or SNF settings preferred
  • Ability to work a 35-hour minimum per week on a daytime shift (08:00–16:30)
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills; comfort working in a multidisciplinary environment
