About the role
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a position on a Medical Surgical Floor in Vermont. The RN will deliver age-specific, direct patient care, utilizing the Nursing Process within the framework of the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. Leadership responsibilities include delegation of work to other healthcare staff members. The role requires compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing healthcare provision.
Schedule

- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care
- Follow departmental and specialty-specific standards of patient care
- Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation of tasks to other team members
Requirements
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS, BLS, PALS (or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), and de-escalation training must be active prior to contract start date; if not active, a booked course must be scheduled at the time of clinical orientation
Qualifications
Experience in Medical Surgical Nursing is preferred but not required.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
