About the role
This 6-week contract in a skilled nursing facility offers guaranteed hours and a weekly pay range of $782 to $826.
Schedule
- 3 × 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Responsibilities
- Administer routine nursing care and medications under the direction of an RN
- Monitor residents’ condition, document vital signs, and report changes promptly
- Assist with activities of daily living, wound care, catheter care, and sample collection as directed
- Adhere to care plans, policies, and safety procedures; monitor for safety risks and prevent falls
- Document in the charting system and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
- Collaborate with the charge nurse to support care coordination and timely responses to resident needs
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico or eligibility for licensure in New Mexico
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and meet guaranteed hours (36 per week)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to follow care plans and policies
- Local candidate status
Pay
- Weekly pay: $782 – $826
