Department: Intensive Care Unit • Location: Lewiston, Maine
Pay
- Up to $1,491–$2,067 gross weekly ($41.44–$57.43 hourly)
- $3/hour shift differential
Responsibilities
- Oversee ICU operations and nursing staff during shifts
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments
- Mentor and support staff performance and development
- Assist with performance management and HR activities
- Monitor supplies, equipment, and unit readiness
- Coordinate patient care, admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Address patient care concerns and escalate issues
- Round with patients and families to ensure positive experience
- Provide direct patient care to maintain safety and quality
- Ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care
Qualifications
- Current valid RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- At least one year of acute care hospital or ED experience as a staff nurse
- Previous supervisory experience (1–2 years) in ICU or acute care setting
