About the Role
Oversee ICU operations and nursing staff during shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality care and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments
- Supervise, mentor, and support staff performance and development
- Assist with performance management and HR activities
- Monitor supplies, equipment, and unit readiness
- Coordinate patient care, admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Address patient care concerns and escalate issues appropriately
- Conduct rounds with patients and families to enhance patient experience
- Provide direct patient care as needed
Requirements
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
- Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital or Emergency Department setting
- Previous supervisory experience of one to two years in an ICU or acute care hospital
Pay
Up to $1,491–$2,067 gross weekly, equivalent to $41.44–$57.43 per hour, with an additional $3/hour differential.
