About the role
Oversees ICU operations and nursing staff during shifts in the Intensive Care Unit at a Lewiston, Maine facility.
Responsibilities
- Manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments
- Supervises, mentors, and supports staff performance and development
- Assists with performance management and HR activities
- Monitors supplies, equipment, and unit readiness
- Coordinates patient care, admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Addresses patient care concerns and escalates issues appropriately
- Rounds with patients and families to enhance patient experience
- Provides direct patient care as needed for safe staffing and quality outcomes
- Ensures high-quality, safe patient care and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) upon hire, maintained current
- At least one year as a staff nurse in an acute care or ED setting
- Previous supervisory experience (1-2 years) in ICU or acute care required

- Pay: Up to $1,491–$2,067 gross weekly, with a $3/hour differential
