About the Role
This position oversees ICU operations and nursing staff in Lewiston, Maine, with available day and night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Oversee ICU operations and nursing staff during shifts
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments
- Mentor and support staff performance and development
- Monitor supplies, equipment, and unit readiness
- Coordinate patient care, admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Address patient care concerns and escalate issues as needed
- Conduct patient and family rounds to ensure positive experiences
- Provide direct patient care to maintain safety and quality outcomes
- Ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care
Requirements
- Valid state RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- At least one year as a staff nurse in an acute care or ED setting
- Previous supervisory experience (1–2 years) in an ICU or acute care hospital

Pay
Up to $1,491–$2,067 gross weekly ($41.44–$57.43/hour), with a $3/hour differential.
