About the role
American Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Home Health Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Morehead City, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans as a PT
- Utilize strong knowledge of neuromuscular, neurological, and orthopedic therapies to deliver effective treatments
- Assist patients and families with transfer techniques and use of adaptive equipment, such as walkers, wheelchairs, and braces
- Apply physical therapy techniques to improve mobility, strength, and function
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PT
- Current State License as a Physical Therapist
- Valid CPR certification
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an APTA-approved program
Qualifications
- Qualified applicants must have previous home care experience

Pay
- Pay range: $59.78 - $62.77 per hour
- Based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
- Tax-free stipend amount to be determined
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- Day shift, Monday-Friday
