About the role

A skilled Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Tech is needed to assist with electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, and device implantations. The role involves preparing patients, operating and troubleshooting EP lab equipment, monitoring patient responses, and ensuring a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrophysiology procedures and device implantations
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient responses
• Maintain sterile technique and troubleshoot equipment
• Perform nursing assessments and educate patients
• Assist physicians and administer medications
• Provide post-procedure care and ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop treatment plans

Requirements

• At least one year of recent EP Lab Tech experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS credentials

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Radiologic technologist license
• Additional certifications such as PALS or ENPC
