About the role
A skilled Electrophysiology Lab Tech supports complex cardiac procedures such as EP studies, ablations, and device implantations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot EP lab equipment
- Monitor cardiac responses and administer medications
- Ensure a sterile, safe environment
- Assist physicians during procedures
- Perform patient assessments and document findings
- Educate patients and provide post-procedure care
- Maintain sterile technique and equipment readiness
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
Requirements
- At least one year of recent EP Lab Tech experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
Qualifications
- Preferred: Radiologic Technologist license
- Preferred: PALS or ENPC certifications

- Physical ability to move equipment and remain stationary for extended periods
- Proficiency in reading instructions and PC skills
- Visual acuity and ability to work under pressure
