Travel EP Tech

About the Role

Assist in electrophysiology procedures including cardiac studies, ablations, and device implantations. Prepare patients, operate and troubleshoot EP lab equipment, and monitor patient responses.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, educate patients and families, and administer medications.
• Provide post-procedure care and maintain sterile techniques.
• Ensure safety protocols and collaborate with the care team to develop treatment plans.
• Identify and respond to changes in patient condition to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of recent EP Lab Tech experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certifications.

Skills

• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to move equipment, assist with procedures, and remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Proficiency in reading instructions, basic PC skills, and effective communication.
• Mental acuity to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle irregular activity schedules.
• Visual acuity and sensory skills necessary for communication and procedure assistance.
