Responsibilities
- Assist with electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, and device implantations
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot EP lab equipment
- Monitor patient responses during procedures
- Ensure safety and sterile procedures are followed
- Support cardiac mapping and interventions
- Provide patient education and post-procedure care
- Collaborate with the care team to develop treatment plans
- Document assessments and procedures
- Respond to changes in patient condition
- Conduct patient assessments
- Assist physicians during procedures
- Administer medications as needed
- Monitor cardiac rhythms
- Maintain a sterile environment
- Support seamless workflow in the EP lab
Qualifications & Skills
- At least one year of recent EP Lab Tech experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Certifications such as ARRT, RCES, or RCIS
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to handle equipment and assist with procedures
- Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions
- Visual acuity and technical proficiency
