Travel ED Charge Nurse

• Oversees ED operations and nursing staff during shifts, ensuring safe, quality patient care and compliance
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments
• Supervises, coaches, and supports staff development
• Assists with performance management and HR activities
• Monitors supplies, equipment, and unit readiness
• Coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Addresses patient care concerns and escalates issues
• Rounds with patients and families to enhance their experience
• Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing levels

Qualifications

• Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital, emergency department experience required
• Previous supervisory experience required
