Travel Director of Nursing, Long-Term Care - $2,604 per week

Medical Solutions LTC is seeking a travel nurse RN Director of Nursing for a 8-week assignment in Madras, Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff
• Conduct regular rounds to assess patient needs and ensure quality care
• Participate in performance evaluations and staff development activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Oregon
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing management experience
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards
• Experience with healthcare technology and electronic medical records (EMR)

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
