About the role
Medical Solutions LTC is seeking a travel nurse RN Director of Nursing for a 4-week assignment in Sedgwick, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Manage staff and resources to meet departmental goals
- Ensure quality patient care and safety
- Conduct rounds and provide direct patient care as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN license in the state of Kansas
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing management experience
- Experience in long-term care settings preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Qualifications
- Passport required for international travel
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
