Travel Critical Care Registered Nurse

About the Role

An experienced travel nurse responsible for providing critical care in a float pool setting. The role involves floating to multiple units, working day shifts, and covering every other weekend and holiday, including specific dates like July 3rd and 4th.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in critical settings.
• Float across multiple units as needed.
• Adhere to shift schedules and holiday/weekend commitments.
• Complete required pre-employment modules and upload relevant certifications and health documents for onboarding.

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of recent experience, including 12 months in critical care float pool.
• Travel experience of at least 3 months.
• Valid Iowa or compact nursing license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
• Skills checklist and recent references (within 2 years).
• No current employment elsewhere on a per-diem basis.
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility.
• COVID vaccination and booster required; declinations not accepted.
• Pre-employment modules may be necessary.

Schedule

• Day shifts.
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage, including specific dates like July 3rd and 4th.
