Travel Critical Care Registered Nurse

About the role

We are seeking an experienced nurse for a travel nursing position specializing in critical care, with expertise in ICU and trauma Level II settings. This role involves floating to ICU and PCU units, working every other weekend, and performing night shifts on a 12-hour schedule.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts nursing license
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility (travel-only requirement)
• 2–5 years of ICU experience
• Proficiency in Epic electronic health records
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• References and proof of identification
• Adherence to credentialing requirements and gap periods from previous placements

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Trauma care experience

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care in ICU and PCU units
• Float between units as needed
• Work night shifts on a 12-hour schedule, including every other weekend
• Participate in on-call duties
• Complete pre-employment modules and assessments as required
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, adaptability, and critical care skills

Assignment Details

• 13-week contract
• Maximum of 14 days off during the assignment
