Travel Critical Care Registered Nurse

About the role

We are seeking an experienced critical care nurse for a travel assignment. The role involves floating across multiple units, including ICU, CVICU, NICU, SICU, MICU, TICU, and Burn ICU, caring for adult patients with conditions such as stroke, cardiac issues, sepsis, trauma, and burns, utilizing advanced equipment like CRRT and Swan Ganz catheters.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care during night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).
• Work flexibly, including weekends and holidays.
• Complete labs within 48 hours of starting.
• Follow protocols for float requirements across units.

Requirements

• At least 12 months of recent ICU experience, including 3 months in the last year.
• Travel experience with Epic proficiency.
• Valid Louisiana or compact nursing license.
• ACLS, BLS, CCRN, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required.
• Experience with Epic EMR and critical care procedures.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Ability to provide references and proof of identification.

Additional Details

• Auto-offer process with no interview required, pending submission of certifications and references.
• Maximum 5 days of time off; limited holiday leave.
• Must be willing to float across multiple units, including ICU and specialized care units.
