About the role

The Travel Coordinator at Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC is responsible for planning and managing travel itineraries for employees, ensuring compliance with travel regulations and carrier requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule travel accommodations for employees, verifying travel orders and selecting the most advantageous route and carrier.
  • Notify personnel of travel details, including dates, baggage, medical and visa requirements, and confirm clearance procedures.
  • Aid in completing travel forms and other business transactions related to travel, delivering necessary documents, and informing arriving personnel about available facilities and housing.
  • Coordinate motor transportation for arriving or departing personnel, handling special allowances and supplementary transportation as needed.
  • Assist new employees with OCONUS travel, understanding and applying the client's travel requirements and making appropriate recommendations.
  • Book domestic and international travel arrangements as needed, performing travel expense reconciliations, and providing excellent customer service and follow-up.
  • Handle limited office administrative duties, such as ordering materials and supplies, and facilitating office-related needs.

Requirements

  • Extensive employee interaction and exceptional customer service skills.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Travel Agent, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of airline reservation and travel management systems.
  • Proven experience coordinating and booking international travel itineraries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Qualifications

  • Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards of the travel industry.
  • Full knowledge of industry practices.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with flexible working hours to accommodate travel schedules.
