Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Cook up travel arrangements including airfare, hotel, and vehicle accommodations
- Maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making
- Handle issues in the best interest of both customer (employee) and company
- Ensure that travelers are “eligible” to drive company vehicles or rental vehicles
- Code travel for job costing ensuring accurate and timely expense reporting
- Coordinate with co-employees and Managers to provide the travelers with the correct travel-related information, advising them on the best travel plans based on their needs and requirements
- Reserve tickets in airlines or other mode of transportation that best suits the traveler’s requirements
- Plan for accommodations and transportation for their travel schedule
- Maintain all travel related records and documents
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Physical And Mental Requirements
- Regular attendance is mandatory
- Self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and help to create, develop and implement process improvement(s)
- Promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills (both verbal and oral) as well as excellent writing skills
- Excellent organizational, management and negotiation skills
- Willingness to work out of ordinary work-related hours as necessary
- Proven mid skill level to interpret project documents, including but not limited to, spreadsheets and billing documents
Qualifications
- Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency
