Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Inpatient Rehab Job

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to adult inpatients under supervision within an inpatient rehab program
• Conduct initial assessments, set goals, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Absorb patients with activities of daily living and rehabilitation exercises to promote independence and function
• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and maintain accurate records according to facility policy and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physical therapists, nursing staff, and other rehab team members to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
• Ensure patient safety and adhere to infection control, safety, and documentation protocols

Requirements

• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility settings preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced rehab environment and adapt to a travel assignment
• Availability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment with the stated shift schedule

About the Role

This is a travel, temporary assignment beginning 09/21/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,389 to $1,480, with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. Shift is 5x8 days (08:00–16:30) in a skilled nursing facility setting.
