Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to adult inpatients within the inpatient rehab program, aligned to the established plan of care
- Conduct initial assessments, monitor progress, and revise treatment plans as needed
- Implement evidence-based OT interventions to improve activities of daily living, mobility, cognitive function, and functional performance
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient progress in the medical record per facility policies
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (OT/PT/SLP, nursing, social work) to coordinate care and support discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home programs, safety strategies, and post-discharge care
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapy Assistant license in New Hampshire or eligible for licensure by endorsement
- COTA credential and current certification
- Graduation from an accredited OTA program
- Inpatient rehab and/or skilled nursing rehab experience preferred
- Ability to work the listed hours in a inpatient rehab setting within a LTC environment
