Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant – Inpatient Rehab is needed for a travel assignment in Rye, NH. Start date is 07/27/2026 for a 13-week contract with guaranteed 35 hours per week. Shifts are daytime, 08:00–16:30, five days per week. Work will be in a skilled nursing facility setting, providing inpatient rehabilitation services to adult residents. Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to adults in an inpatient rehab setting, contributing to multidisciplinary care plans
  • Assess function, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress toward goals
  • Address activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, gait, cognition, and upper-extremity function to maximize independence
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans; communicate effectively with the rehabilitation team and family
  • Ensure patient and staff safety, proper use of therapy equipment, and adherence to infection control and safety standards
  • Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to support discharge planning and continuity of care

Requirements

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in New Hampshire or eligibility
  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Inpatient rehab or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
  • Ability to work a 35+ hour weekly schedule in a day-shift, travel assignment
  • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
  • Eligibility to work in the United States and readiness for a travel assignment
