Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy services to inpatient rehab patients under the direction of the therapy leadership and in accordance with scope of practice
- Perform patient assessments, participate in treatment planning, and document progress to support discharge planning and goal attainment
- Implement individually tailored activities to improve activities of daily living, functional mobility, upper-extremity function, and cognitive-perceptual skills
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (therapy, nursing, social work, and other professionals) to ensure coordinated care and safe patient transfers
- Maintain accurate documentation in patient records, adhere to HIPAA requirements, and follow facility safety and infection-control protocols
Requirements
- Able to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility inpatient rehab setting and deliver therapy within the defined scope of practice
- Travel assignment readiness and ability to work the stated shift pattern (08:00–16:30) and support the 13-week contract
- Eligible to work in the United States and comply with applicable regulatory and facility policies
- Commitment to 35 guaranteed hours per week and to the 13-week assignment duration
