Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services to adult patients in an inpatient rehab setting, including evaluation, treatment planning, and direct therapy sessions
Collaborate with the rehab team to develop and implement patient-centered goals; adjust plans based on progress and outcomes
Document clinical findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
Facilitate activities of daily living training, mobility, upper-extremity strengthening, and cognitive rehabilitation aligned with individual goals
Monitor patient safety and response to therapy; communicate with nurses, physicians, and families as appropriate
Maintain infection control practices, safety protocols, and patient privacy (HIPAA) while delivering quality care
Requirements
Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license (state licensure as applicable)
Ability to work in an inpatient rehab setting within a long-term care environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines
Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment and adhere to shift schedule (5x8 days)
