About the role
This assignment covers radiographic and catheterization lab functions in a hospital setting with on-call obligations. Orientation sessions are scheduled twice monthly for interview and offer.
Pay
Weekly pay: $3,030–$3,299.
Schedule
- 10-hour day shifts (Monday–Friday)
- On-call: minimum one weeknight per month (5:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.)
- Weekend coverage: one weekend per month (Saturday–Sunday, 48 hours)
Responsibilities
- Operate radiographic equipment and hemodynamic monitoring systems during cardiac procedures
- Manage cardiac stimulators and CEID programmers; maintain sterile technique and the sterile field
- Assist physicians during catheterization and related interventions; ensure equipment and supplies are ready
- Monitor patient status and hemodynamic data, respond to alarms, and maintain accurate documentation
- Ensure safe operation of equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and adhere to infection control practices
- Collaborate with the cardiovascular team to uphold patient safety and procedure quality
Requirements
- MA license required
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Cardiac Cath Lab Certification Verification (MA) or Equivalency
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local travelers accepted
- Experience in a cath lab or related cardiovascular setting is preferred
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts with on-call and weekend coverage as described
