Travel Cardiovascular Technologist Cath Lab Technologist Job
Overview
The Diagnostic Imaging team supports cardiac cath and interventional radiology procedures, delivering state-of-the-art imaging to aid fast, accurate diagnoses.
Responsibilities
- Perform imaging and procedural support for cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology cases, including patient positioning and equipment setup
- Operate imaging systems used in cath lab procedures; monitor patient status during procedures; administer contrast per protocol
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure adherence to radiation safety and infection control standards
- Collaborate with the cardiology team, nursing, and anesthesia to optimize procedural flow and patient care; document procedures accurately
- Assist with post-procedure care, equipment turnover, and routine quality assurance tasks
Requirements
- Current ARRT RT(R) credential required (RTR preferred)
- Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology required
- Healthcare Provider BLS required
- AHA ACLS required
- One (1) year of experience or training in a Cath Lab/Angio hospital setting preferred
