Responsibilities
- Scrub in and assist for Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures, including procedural preparation and instrument setup
- Position and prep patients, set up equipment, and manage procedural radiography for all Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures cases
- Evaluate images to ensure appropriate density, contrast, detail, and anatomical visualization to support interpretation
- Perform special procedures radiography following department procedures and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized procedural area, restock materials, and prepare tables/equipment for the next patient
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff, document procedures, and communicate patient information as needed; rotate among shifts as staffing allows
Requirements
- Current New Hampshire ARRT license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Completion of a radiologic technology certificate or degree
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- Ability to take call and work in a hospital/Cath Lab environment
- Proficiency in scrubbing and operating X-ray equipment for Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Special Procedures
