Travel Cardiovascular Technologist Cath Lab Technologist Job
Key Highlights
- Weekly pay: $2,787 to $2,922 per week

- Travel assignment in a hospital setting with interventional cardiovascular teams
- On-call requirements: rotating after hours with Sunday rotation; commute within 30 minutes
Responsibilities
- Conduct specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies, and/or electrophysiology studies
- Serve as lead worker and resource to clinical staff, supporting optimal use of team capabilities
- Collaborate with the intra-procedure team to provide safe patient care
- Participate in Universal Protocol and site marking as applicable
- Auxiliary tasks include patient identification, preparation, draping, and room setup for routine procedures; review orders and protocols, and communicate with physicians as needed
- Select equipment in accord with protocols and regulatory and accreditation standards; ensure patient comfort and safety
- Maintain and calibrate interventional equipment; perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and coordinate repairs to keep equipment operational
- Provide guidance to colleagues on equipment operation; identify opportunities to improve workflows and patient satisfaction
- Stay current with advances in cardiovascular technology by continuing education and professional practice, applying updated knowledge to daily work
- Adhere to applicable rules, regulations, policies, and guidelines; revise procedures for repeated use of equipment and maintain internal controls for compliance
Requirements
- Active Texas Medical Radiologic License
- ARRT or RCIS certification (active)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association, current)
- Minimum 1 year experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP cases
- Experience in a critical care setting (ICU, ED) or previous Cath/EP Lab setting preferred
- Previous travel experience highly preferred
- Resume and a Skills Checklist specific to Cardiac Cath Lab required
- Two supervisory references from within the last year required
- Proof of taxable address (documentation such as driver’s license and utility bill or equivalent) required
- Weekend schedule: to be determined by the facility
- Must disclose any previous Parkland employment history in profile (where applicable)
