Travel Cardiovascular Technologist Cath Lab Technologist Job

Travel Cath Lab Technologist assignment in Olympia, Washington at a 325-bed short-term acute care hospital. This temporary role begins on 08/24/2026 for a weeks-long duration within the Cardiac Cath Services department.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and/or circulator duties during diagnostic and interventional cath procedures (left/right heart cath, PCI, rotablator, CTO) and assist with Impella/IABP as needed; maintain sterile field throughout procedures.
• Support structural heart procedures (TAVR, balloon valvuloplasty, Watchman) and electrophysiology activities (EPS, Afib/Flutter ablations); participate in pacemaker/AICD implants as assigned.
• Provide hemodynamic monitoring, arrhythmia recognition, and rapid response to patient changes; ensure accurate EPIC charting and documentation.
• Assist with device implants and post-procedure care; collaborate with the cath lab team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to unit protocols and safety standards; contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
• On-call schedule: 1 call day per week; weekend on-call ~1 weekend every 5–6 weeks.
• Ability to float to sister facilities as needed; refusal may affect hours.

Requirements

• Active WA RT or CIS state license (pending licenses not accepted).
• ARRT-R or CCI RCIS certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 1 year Cath Lab experience required; community hospital experience required.
• Travel experience required (local travelers within 50 miles are not eligible for travel contract).
• First-time travelers not accepted.
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years (required during compliance).
• EPIC charting experience preferred.

Pay

Weekly pay ranges from $2,925 to $3,179 with no guaranteed hours.

Schedule

4x10 day shifts (06:30–17:00).
