About the role

The School Board Certified Behavior Analyst will provide behavior analytic services to students with autism spectrum disorders and other severe behavioral challenges in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on data-driven decision making
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to inform interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement behavior support plans
• Provide direct instruction and modeling to students to improve social skills and reduce challenging behaviors
• Evaluate student progress regularly and adjust interventions as necessary
• Document observations, interventions, and progress reports in a timely manner

Requirements

• Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
• National Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other severe behavioral challenges
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
