About the role

Responsibilities
- Teach students with mild to moderate disabilities according to their IEPs
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement IEPs
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- State special education teaching certification
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred
Skills
- Knowledge of special education methodologies and techniques
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
